When the boy got up, a worm and a bee were staring straight at him. When he dropped the ash, the worm immediately ate the ash and became friends with the 17 year old boy. The bee of course was the 17 year old boy’s lost pet, from when the boy was 4 years old. Now the bee was also 17 years old.
